Working under the clinical supervision of Dr. Victoria Gonzalez, Alice is a fourth year doctoral candidate in UCSB’s Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology program.  She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in working with parents in different stages of their parenting journey, from pregnancy through parents of school-age children.

Passionate about utilizing therapy to bolster parent, child, and family mental health,  Alice approaches therapy sessions with a non-judgmental, validating, and supportive demeanor. 
Alice joins our team after spending two years in clinical practice, with her most recent year providing Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) with local families, which she continues with Haven Family Resource as she actively pursues her PCIT certification. 

Alice approaches her care collaboratively, through a lens of cultural humility, and strives to be trauma-informed, and gender and sexuality-affirming in all aspects of her work.  She looks forward to creating a safe and supportive environment for clients as they navigate pregnancy and early parenthood.

Types of Therapy I Provide:
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT),  Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERPT),  and Solution-Focused Therapy, utilizing somatic-oriented and cognitive relaxation methods including mindfulness techniques and progressive muscle relaxation.
