In individual therapy, you will be matched with a supportive and caring mental health therapist who will work with you to develop an individualized plan toward your healing and growth. You will meet for 45 to 60 minutes and discuss your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Your therapist will use an integrative and best-practices approach to gently join you in your journey of self-discovery and growth. At times, individual therapy will be more skills and solution focused, and at other times more catharsis & processing will occur. You are the expert on yourself, so letting your therapist know your desires and comfort level is always encouraged.

Group therapy is a wonderful opportunity to explore, connect, and find solace in others who are experiencing similar life challenges. It is also a place to share, laugh, cry and grow. Some of the many benefits of group therapy are;

Cancellation Policy: If you are unable to attend your session, please by sure you cancel at least 48 hours in advance. You can do this online in your account at any time of day. Late cancellations are charged a $75 late cancellation fee.

Do you take insurance for counseling/ therapy services?
We are working on it! We are in process in becoming in-network providers with several insurance companies and we anticipate having news to share in early 2024!
Funds are very tight, but I genuinely need counseling to help me through some things. What can I do?
Increasing access to care and having skilled, professional reproductive, perinatal, and early-parenthood counseling options that are within reach is very important to us: it's literally the reason we came into existence! Mid-income families often fall in the broad gap between being eligible for CenCal or free/ very-low-cost community-based services and having the discretionary income to afford market rate services (which are commonly $225 - $265 a visit for specialized reproductive and perinatal care).

Some other groups have felt too big for me. What should I expect for group size?
We keep our support groups small and intimate: 5 - 8 participants, with one or two therapists facilitating the group. While we know that groups have the important role of creating potentially meaningful social connections, we find that the smaller group size allows the time, space, and intimacy to explore what you feel, what you want, and to do so in a safe environment with peers who also value learning and growing in community.
Is there childcare available during individual or group counseling sessions?
As of today, not yet. However, this is a value of our that we are in progress of making a reality, which takes fundraising support and dependable childcare providers who will care for your little while you take care of yourself. Until then, you are welcome to bring your pre-crawling infant, or we encourage another caregiver to provide support so you can focus fully on yourself.
