We are proud to partner with Kelsey Hill of Kids Safety Academy to offer a sensible and empowering approach to prepare for the scary “what if’s” for safety for our most precious responsibility — the baby or toddler we care for. Prep to learn to prevent and respond to the most common medical emergencies for infants and young children: fever, allergic reactions, poisoning, seizures and trauma, with extra emphasis on airway issues, including responding to choking. Infant CPR is practiced with CPR manikins. If you also have a Toddler or Preschooler at home, please let us know at registration and we can do a “side demonstration” on pediatric CPR techniques.
What you'll learn in this class:
While this class does not certify you in First Aid or CPR, it is a good class for non-licensed childcare providers, like baby sitters, home nannies/ nanny share providers, and other caregivers who will be spending time with your little one.
