This Position: We are looking for a licensed clinician to join our team of women, to support parents in the transitional phases of the parenting journey including; conception,pregnancy, infancy, and early parenthood, as well as infertility and pregnancy loss. We are seeking a licensed marriage family therapist, clinical social worker, or professional clinical counselor to serve as an essential role in helping Haven Family Resource meet our mission of easing the transition of parenthood and helping to create healthy, connected, and thriving families. This is a clinical role, primarily conducting individual therapy sessions - with room for creativity, family work, couple’s therapy, and group therapy work as well. We value your expertise, and experience in regards to your own comfort level with a caseload and will strive to provide you with the number of clients that fits you best.
Requirements for the Position:
Associate MFT/SW/PCCin good standing in California or Postdoctoral Psychological Associate (PhD/PsyD)
MA or MS from a CAMFT or AAMFT accredited program
Enthusiasm about working with mothers, and other gestational parents, during and after the perinatal phases, as well as with infertility and pregnancy loss.
Competency in integrated case conceptualization for assessing and treating clients managing the transition into parenthood.
Demonstrates a trauma-informed approach to care.
Willing to work in person, and by telehealth per client needs and requests.
Collaborative in providing a system of care approach to supporting clients, by working with OBGYNs, doulas, midwives, lactation consultants, and other birth workers.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English.
Nice to Have:
Training, experience, certifications in maternal mental health, perinatal mental health, or other relevant experiences.
Ability to conduct therapy in another language in addition to English
Interested and eligible to supervise psychological associates and trainees.

About Us: Haven Counseling Program is a community-based mental health clinic aiming to improve the mental health and well being of families.
