Working under the clinical supervision of Dr. Victoria Gonzalez, Licensed Psychologist (PSY28016), Meghan is a fourth-year Clinical Psychology Doctoral Candidate at University of California, Santa Barbara.
Meghan is passionate about using strength-based, culturally-sensitive approaches to meet her clients where they are. She has most recently spent the last year working at CALM, a community-based clinic focused on trauma prevention and treatment in youth and families. Additionally, she is a certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT) with experience implementing this evidence-based practice to support parent-child relationships, especially with children experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges. Meghan has also worked to implement mindfulness and positive parenting intervention programs within Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics to support caregivers in reducing stress for themselves and their children and increase positive parenting practices. |
